Cathay Pacific cancellation policy for full refunds
Per Cathay Pacific's cancellation policy, most tickets are non-refundable. However, you can cancel your flight and get a full refund of the unused portion of your ticket under the following conditions:
Cancel a flight within 24 hours of booking if:
Your flight departs to/from the United States and
You have booked at least 7 days before your departure date and
Made the reservation online from the Cathay Pacific website in the USA.
The customer was denied boarding even though he had a confirmed reservation.
Cancel a ticket reserved for travel before March 31, 2021, and your ticket was issued on or before March 23, 2020.
Your flight has a delay of at least 5 hours.
Your flight is rescheduled and the new flight causes you to miss a connecting flight.
You have a First Flex ticket.
Any special circumstances that prevent you from taking your flight, such as the death of a passenger or an immediate family member, a serious illness, etc. (subject to documentary evidence and acceptance by Cathay Pacific).
