Why is My Epson Printer Not Printing?

Several factors may cause your printer to not print such as low ink in the cartridges, issue with print settings, driver issue, and many more. If your epson printer won't print, then you should try printing a nozzle check pattern first. This will help you find out if the nozzles are clogged after which you need to clean the print head.

Next check the layout settings in your printer software including paper size, orientation, etc and correct them if necessary.

If you are using an Epson wireless printer, then you should try restarting your router.

· Unplug the router from the main source and leave it like that for a brief period (wait at least 10 minutes).

· Plug it back to the power outlet and connect, wait for it to restart completely. Once the WiFi is connected to the printer, try printing again.

1. Check your printer connection

If it’s a wireless printer, check that the Internet is running OK. Disconnect and reconnect the printer to the network, if necessary.

Also, make sure that the printer is connected to the same network as your device.

For a USB-connected printer, check that the cables are seated correctly into the ports. Change the USB port to see if there’s any change.

2. Set your printer as default printer

From the Start menu > Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.

Select your Epson printer > Manage > Set as default.

Alternatively, uncheck the Let Windows manage my default printer box, to allow the system to use your most recent printer.
